Description:Historic ruins at this former gold-mining boomtown include the most photo-graphed ghost-town building in the West the Cook Bank Building-and Nevada's best-preserved "bottle house," constructed entirely of glass bottles. Death Valley Monument visitors frequently tour Rhyolite because it is along one of the major roads to that park.
Directions:From Beatty, travel southwest on State Highway 374 approximately 2 miles. Turn right and proceed 2 miles to Rhyolite.List of Activities
